About Naples Lighting & Fan Depot

Jim Avery opened the Fan Depot in 1988 after apprenticing for 10 years in the fan and lighting business. It began as a ceiling fan store and has evolved into a lighting store that carry's fans and other home accessories. As such, in 2006 the name became Naples Lighting & Fan Depot to reflect the store's evolution.

Honest, friendly service, along with top-of-the-line products have allowed our small family business to prosper and expand beyond our expectations. The "core" employees that make it all possible are Jim's wife, Sharon, his son, Justin (whose business card should read "owner's boss"), his son Jake(when school is not in session at UF), Aaron Dreher ("the American"), and the best damn installer anyone's ever seen, Dan Michels. Together, they create an enjoyable, casual atmosphere that makes shopping a comfortable experience. No stuffy attitudes, Guaranteed!!
